Work for the Canossian Daughters of Charity, Tokyo

Crucifix made for the Canossian Daughters of Charity and dedicated to the charism of the order. From the original crucifix made by cembral pine wood and conserved by the Sisters of Tokyo, were produced several copies in bronze donated to various organizations in the World.

The crucifix represents Mary and Jesus, as a unique figure.

The dialogue between the eyes and hands of Jesus and Mary is the center of the composition and expresses the charisma of the Canossian Daughter of : “Inspice et fac”, contemplation and action.
